Hi,
this is what happened to me just after a new installation. The system first booted getting the right ip address from the dhcp server, than I configured a few folders and tried to enabled sshd and samba via the services panel. None of them was able to start. I noted that almost any service was able to start. I rebooted the machine and then I was able to take full control over services.
What is strange to me is that nothing about the network configuration was changed, so it seems to me my freenas installation was unable to run at the first boot. Anyone experiencing the same problem and/or able to explain me that?
Thanks
