FreeNAS Netzwerkfreigabe für Windows 3.11

Hallo, ich brauch mal ein wenig Hilfe bei dem o.g. Thema.
Folgendes Problem hab ich.
Unter FreeNAS 9.10 (Server, Proliant GEN8) bekomme ich mit einem Windows 3.11 System (Client) kein Netzlaufwerk verbunden.
Als Protokoll Minimalkonfiguration habe ich LANMAN1 eingestellt ..... das sollte ja schon mal soweit richtig sein oder?
Freigaben habe ich soweit auch eingerichtet und mit anderen Systemen getestet (z.B. Windows 8). Diese funktionieren.
Muss ich noch auf weitere Besonderheiten achten, da das Windows 3.11 ja schon ein paar Jahre alt ist?
Anbei hab ich mal die letzte Meldung von WIN 3.11 ....

Muss ich noch auf weitere Besonderheiten achten, da das Windows 3.11 ja schon ein paar Jahre alt ist?

Windows 7 is ein paar Jahre alt. Windows XP is alt. Windows 3.11 ist unglaublich alt...

Da kennen sich wenige aus... Ich würde mal vorschlagen, dass "Server minimum protocol" auf LANMAN1 oder LANMAN2 gesetzt wird. Sonnst, absolut keine Ahnung.

Ich hofe... Das wird ganz kommish, wenn es eine Desktop Kiste anstatt war. :)

Auf jeden Fall habe ich keine Ahnung, warum 3.1.1 nicht mit SMB Protokoll 1.0 nicht mit Samba funktionieren kann.

Industrielle Maschine vollkommen richtig
LANMAN1 hatte ich schon eingestellt. Damit konnte ich dann das Freenas im Netz unter WIN 3.11 finden.... Aber der Zugriff klappt eben leider nicht.
Hatte vorher Synology NAS da ging es bis zum Updates auf DSM 6.0 Problemlos.... Danach hab ich auch da keine Verbindung mehr bekommen. Mit meinem altem CH3S NAS funktioniert alles in der Grundeinstellung + Entsprechende Freigabe. (Das musste ich aus dem Ruhestand holen als das Problem mit dem DSM 6.0 kam).
Das FreeNAS System solle jede die beiden anderen Systeme (Synology+CH3S) ersetzten.

Hat jemand noch Ideen? Bzw. Hat jemand schon WIN 3.11 mit FreeNAS 9.10 verbunden ?

where "See client max protocol for a full list of available protocols. The values CORE, COREPLUS, LANMAN1, LANMAN2 are silently upgraded to NT1." is stated twice, in the client ipc max protocol (G) section as well as in the client ipc min protocol (G) section.

If I read this correctly, these ancient protocols aren't supported any more by samba since version 4.2. @jkh maybe a note in the FreeNAS user documentation would be useful.

Vielleicht funktioniert FreeNAS 9.3, da die Samba Version noch 4.1.etwas ist... Wenn die Dokumentation stimmt.

Der Support für Samba 4.1 wurde allerdings am 2016-03-22 eingestellt, es dürfte somit jetzt oder in absehbarer Zeit keine aktuelle Samba-basierte NAS Software mehr geben, die die "prä-NT" Protokolle noch unterstützt.

Das klingt zu mir korrekt. Solche Umstände treten auch zehr zehr selten auf, so... Ich weiss nicht ob doku Änderungen wirklich notwendig sind!

Eine Frage beschäftigt mich noch....
Wenn ich in einer WIN7 VM über Virtualbox Jail eine Freigabe mache .... Kann ich darauf mit Windows 3.11 zugreifen?
Das ist ein Gedankenspiel von mir.....

Der Umweg Funktioniert soweit ganz gut.
Windows 7 in Virtualbox mit einer Freigabe für Windows 3.11 :)
