Hello, I'm new to freenas. been working on my nas for about a week. I've been trying to setup of emby.
I have read and followed posts vid, and instruction.
I believe the issue I have and need help with resolving. My freenas setup was originally for window share. so I created a 2gig disk for smb sharing. That drive has all my movies 160 gigs. I started a new freenas setup, because I was having issues with premissions, and I imported the 2 gig drive with my movies. I am still having issues, and can not create pools on either drive, no drive appear in pool creation, again I believe this is an issue with smb.
I do not want to lose my movies, second I would like to setup a freenas with emby. I believe all the issue I am having is due to the smb share, and permissions.
What can I do to save my movies and create a freenas emby server.
