As per the title: is it possible to load an iSCSI target from another server on FN using iscsictl command? I tried but it seems it needs iscsid service running.
Yes, I know what it's intended for :). service iscsid onestart made the trick, and if I want it permanent I can just set iscsid_enable to YES in /etc/rc.conf.
BTW I just wanted to experiment with zfs over iscsi vdevs 'crazy experiments'!
