Hi,

In the last couple of days my Freenas box has stopping doing what it should be.

I'm getting constant errors in dmesg of "pid 3988 (python), uid 0, was killed: out of swap space"

This is a full installation onto a 16Gb SD card. The box has 4Gb RAM and I'm at a loss of what to do next.

I still have ssh access, but nothing else.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Simon.

I'm running FreeNAS with ZFS on a similiar setup - 4 GB RAM should be working fine (at least if you are running it in your home environment without heavy access). Also each drive should provide an additional swap partition by default (2gb or something), so I can't image you actually run out of swap space.
Unfortunately I can't help you any more with the original problem.
