freenas 9.2 transmission errors due to character length limit

I have been having issues with transmission ever since JAILS have been implemented. Lot's of torrents have long file names, and the limit of path is 88 characters. Has anyone found a work-around this issue? I have mapped storage, renamed files names, but sometimes it's still too long.

i know that it's a known issue. My question is how to people work around it with Transmission?
