Hi,
I have been very happy with Freenas for several years. I have my main Freenas box (the one I am looking to upgrade) then a HPN40L which is a backup box (via Rsync from main freenas), I also have a secondary backup which is on a VM. All are running 9.10 - Rsync push & pull are setup for backups.
So anyway, what is the best safest way to upgrade? The VM functionality looks a lot better than virutalbox in 9.10 - that is the main thing that is pushing me to update (can always use a few other VM's).
Is Rsync working OK? Any reason not to upgrade - everything currently is running perfectly.
Primary usage of the main box is SMB sharing (plus backup).
Stability is a must for me & 9.10 is stable. Should I upgrade or wait a few more months?
Thanks,
Rich
