SOLVED FreeNAS 9.1 on HP Proliant Microserver Gen8 MicroSD card

To boot FN on the MS Gen8, do the following:
  1. Turn on AHCI mode for the onboard SATA controller in the BIOS (this is not the default setting)
  2. Use a USB thumb drive on the internal USB port

I have already turn on AHCI Mode .
Even I have no any disk connect to onboard miniSAS, because , I plug M1015 Card on PCI-E slot#1 .
but, I still got some error about what I said before...

so poor ,....

You're ignoring step 2.

If you actually are using a USB drive, how did you install FN on it? What method?

actually , I plug a 16Gb USB thumbs on the internal USB Port .

1.I use iLO4 and power on
2.mount LiveCD iso file
3.after loading opensolaris.ko .and take a while ...

Is this while booting off of the installer ISO or off of the USB drive after a successful install?
