FreeNAS 11 with 10GTec X520-DA2 Network Card

Hi,

I've got the X520-DA2 installed into my FreeNAS and it recognizes it, but I can't get it to light up. Any tips or tricks?

lspci:

08:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82599ES 10-Gigabit SFI/SFP+ Network Connection (rev 01)

Also if I do have it setup right. How do I set it up in FreeNas? I created a lagg0 and added both to it.

Are you sure your SFP modules are working and compatible?

Also, how are you trying to set it up? Adding both ports to a lagg is a very particular configuration, and requires the switch to be configured appropriately as well.

Regarding compatibility, these NICs require intel branded optics where the actual direct attach cables are open to other brands...
