Hi,
I am using a VM to host ubuntu 18.04 server with the Unity desktop installed. I am running qbittorrent and PIA VPN with the killswitch enabled. When I use the desktop via VNC, I get system errors and my CIFS mounts get destroyed. I decided to change to NFS and now get the same errors, however NFS seems more rugged and the shares stay mounted. It seems that without the gui, the system is stable. Has anybody else encountered problems with Ubuntu running in a VM? I have done several installs and they all seem to do the same thing.
