fixing the hard drive

Hi all,

I have built this freenas with zfs volume system and raid 10, got total 6 2 tb hdd. One of my drive keep showing read error. Can some body please tell me how to unmount or fix this hdd. Or do i need to replace this hdd. I tried to wipe it but i get the message to unmount RAIDZ and don't know how to. Tried all the commands but nothing works. I will appreciate any help.

I'd probably replace the disk. Follow the steps in the manual to replace a disk. You shouldn't have to do anything manually from CLI. And don't try to wipe stuff without understanding the consequences, we had some people loose their data because they accidentally destroyed their whole pool.

thanks for the quick reply, i really appreciate it. I unfortunately couldn't figure out the steps to remove the hdd and replace with another one. Any way possible to guide me through?
