Hey guys,
I'm looking to build a FreeNAS server at home for media storage (pictures, movies, etc.) with a ZFS RAID-Z1 set up. The other use I have for this is to play movies on my HTPC that I would store on this box so I think the CPU I'm going for is good enough? This box will not run 24/7 and will only be turned on when needed...
Any comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I'm not too sure if this is overkill or not... I'm in Canada by the way so the prices are a bit higher than usual :(
