[File Manager web] anybody successfuly installed elfinder or simgeo ?

Hi there

in an attempt to install a file manager offering a good set of features, i had looked at these two.
Unfortunately, i find their documentation rather scarce and my skills in HTML/CSS/PHP/PERL/lighthttpd too limited to be able to successfully make any of the 2 work.

So, any chance someone made on of them work ?
One of them has a python connector, but it's still a dev phase connector so i don't how usable it is.
I've tried with PHP connectors with no luck so far...

Hope to read something that might help me !
