SOLVED Faulty disk after LSI-firmware update / update to 9.3.1

Hey guys!

I upgraded to 9.3.1 not knowing that i would have a firmware issue. I have a Supermicro X10SL7-F mainboard, and had flashed the lsi controller to fw16. Now after the upgrade i noticed the flashing yellow alert in the top right corner telling me i had a mismatch between the firmware and the drivers. This freaked me out and i shut down the freenas server while i tried to figure out what i had to do.

After reading https://forums.freenas.org/index.ph...t-match-driver-version-20-for-dev-mps0.36536/ i disconnected my drives from the mainboard, updated the firmware to version 20.00.04.00 wich i got from Supermicros ftp server, reconnected my drives and booted freenas back up again.

I have 10 4tb wd red nas disks in a raidz2 pool 8 of wich are connected to the lsi controller, and two right on the mainboard. Now i have one wich freenas tells me is faulty. Email from my nas:
The volume tank (ZFS) state is DEGRADED: One or more devices are faulted in response to persistent errors. Sufficient replicas exist for the pool to continue functioning in a degraded state.

The device in question is called da1, i ran a long smart test on it, here is the output from smarctl -A /dev/da1:

This leaves me with the question, can i try to fix my pool with a scrub or is my disk beyond repair and in need of replacement?

Umm.... the smart data on that disk is perfect...

You didn't paste the entire output, but did the long test pass?

I am at work right now and dont have access to my freenas box. i will post the entire output once i get home. Although im pretty sure i got everything, maybe im using the wrong command? i used smartcl -A /dev/da1

Apparently the problem was with a sata-cable not attached properly. I'm ashamed i didn't figure this out prior to coming to the forums for help. In any case, the problem corrected itself once i attached the cable properly with no further errors or data-loss.
