Hi, I've got FreeNAS 8.2.0-RELEASE-p1-x64. It's been running since 8.2.0-p1 dropped with no problems.

Yesterday the daily email started showing:
Zeta.local kernel log messages:

Today, the same thing... I tried a reboot, same thing..

Here is a capture of the Storage GUI.

What do I have to do to get my volumes back? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

For some reason zpool status will not work either..

[root@Zeta] ~# zpool status
internal error: failed to initialize ZFS library

Re: ZFS Volumes problem

Did I not provide enough info for anyone to help me? Or am I screwed? I sure hope not! :(

Could be a failing flash drive. I'd try a fresh install to a different USB stick.

Re: ZFS Volumes problem

Thanks for the suggestion paleoN. I have not installed FreeNAS fresh with existing pools. Will it magically find all of my pools and recreate them?

Re: ZFS Volumes problem

So you didn't think about what would happen if your USB stick suddenly failed? That was the first question I asked myself when I saw that FreeNAS is designed to be used on a USB stick. What if you couldn't get access to your data anymore? Give the manual a quick read though. It has the answer to your question :D.

Yea, I've had this happen before (Flash failing), I did think about it. It's just been a long time. I'm glad to see FreeNAS has actually improved since then (Auto Import ACTUALLY WORKS!). Thanks anyway, I figured it out on my own.

Not everyone that asks question on here is a dumb ass, it's better that you not reply at all then to give remarks that boil down to RTFM.

So, it was the flash drive then? There were other possibilities, but it was the first thing to come to mind.

This could be a coincidence, but I have this same error code showing up the day after upgrading from 9.1.1 to 9.2 via the GUI. Never saw this error before that.

Just curious - what correlates this error code to the USB stick? Is it the "uid 0" part or the "signal 10" part that is a reference to the USB stick?
