Hi Everyone.

I am having a strange issue with TrueNAS Core joined to a domain.

I am able to access my shares using the TrueNAS servers hostname from windows 10 but not using IP Address,

When I connect with hostname the shares appear no problem, when I try to use the IP it prompts for username and password endlessly

However when I try the same thing from Windows Server 2019 machine using the exact same domain user account it works fine...

Very strange, any ideas what is going on here ?

Thanks
Chris

@anodos - I have double checked and I have not NTLM Auth Policies defined in any of my group policies and if this was the cause I would expect it to happen when connecting via hostname also but it doesn't it only happens when connect via IP Address.

Thanks
Chris

Okay, now that is just weird I had already tried rebooting my Windows 10 Machine and it made no difference, rebooted it again and now its working bizarre.. I think this is a Windows issue not a TrueNAS issue.
