DFS (Distributed File System)

Hallo,

we want to place an SMB share on another dataset but without changing the namespace. It should be transparent for the SMB users. We have not enough diskspace on the original dataset so we want to build another one and place the data on it.

DFS might be the solution.

We don´t find the right place of the "smb.conf" file. We need to place the flag

[global]
host msdfs = yes

and also we don´t find the samba shares. They are not located in "/var/lib/samba/"
