Hello,

I have had Truenas Core for a while, but all of my peripherals are plugged into USB 2 ports. When I plug them into USB 3 ports, they are not recognized. I have tried different settings in BIOS but nothing changes. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

USB3 is going to be hit-n-miss with CORE. If it still doesn't work on the latest 12.0, you'll perhaps want to try SCALE since it should have better support for wider variety of USB3 chipsets.

Hi @Kris Moore,
I was thinking of switching to Scale when it comes out. But is it easy to move from Core to Scale conserving configurations and data? In addition, is it sure that there will be less USB problem?

Linux has far better driver support for more random hardware, so while I can't guarantee it'll work for you particular setup (Don't know what that is) it'd be worth a shot at least booting it to find out :)

Upgrades are ready, just look at the migration from CORE section on that page.
