Hello folks,

I have been looking for a while to solve this but didn't work .

I have a server with 4 SAS hard drive the problem is either doesn't detect my disk or detect only one:

When I use RAID 1+0 : Detect one disk (suppose 2)
When I use RAID 5 : I have been able to install FreeNAS but then on "storage" no drive detected
When I don't use RAID: unable to install FreeNAS as no disk are detected

All my disk are detected in the BIOS I don't know where to look anymore thanks for your help!

Please follow the forum rules so we can help you better, post your full hardware specs along with your FreeNAS software version.

Are you using a hardware raid card?

That would be a quite straightforward and easy fix. FreeNAS does not like hardware RAID cards unless they are flashed and simply act as a passthrough.

Thanks for the answers!
Do you have a good topic to flash the RAID?
Is there a similar software without the RAID issue?
