im running TrueNAS-12.0-U5.1 which is conected to our Windows AD. We use the function "Private SMB Datasets and Shares" and allow the users to store their private data.
Everything works as expected and a new AD user is able to connect via smb share to the home share. The TrueNAS server automatically creates their user/home folder
e.g. tank/user/susan, /tank/user/max, /tank/user/john Fine
The problem I am not able to solve: how can I set the quota for the home share of the users? I would like to set a quota of for example 100GiB.
I can set the limit by hand (Storage --> Pool --> tank/user/john (klick on the three dots) --> User Quotas --> klick on the username and set a quota.
However I don't want to do it manually/by hand. Is there an option or a function which will solve my problem?
