User Quotas

Hi All,

Does anyone know why zfs set userquota@user1=5g tank/Home WORKS along with zfs set groupquota@group1=10g tank/Home BUT zfs set defaultuserquota=7g tank/Home doesn't?

I want to apply a default quota to all users working within a single dataset separate to the dataset itself and this works but currently I need to apply it to every user so would be nice if I could get the above to work or something similar.

Apparently defaultuserquota is a oracle specific zfs property.

Thats a shame, would be a cool feature if it ever found its way to OpenZFS. Strange how you can set specific user and groups quotas with zfs but not default user/group quotas. Thanks
