Hey. Id like to run some steam based game servers in a jail.
FreeBSD is not supported so i thought i try to setup debian in a jail. I did read that since 9.3. that option was removed from FreeNASs jail template options. So what are the current options? I dont need extreme performance for a game server for max 10 people. I could create the normal freeBSD jail, install some VM software in the jail and install debian in the VM software? Is there still a direct way as FreeBSD in principle supports 32 bit linus? should i refer to the freeBSD forums instead?
i believe that steam and game servers are next to media centers quite an area of interest for the private/home server application and thus wonder why support for debian jails was stopped with 9.3..
thanks for any inputs.
