I have an old RD350 that I wanted to use as a small storage server. I used the instructions here: https://www.reddit.com/r/homelab/comments/hqayu0/how_to_cross_flash_lenovo_lsi_92408i_to_lsi_9211/

After correcting a couple of typos it all went went and I was able to install FreeNAS on the drive, but when I rebooted the HBA was not available as a boot option. It does not show up in post. Tried both UEFI and Legacy but nothing. Any thoughts? Not sure what else to try and can't seem to find anything via Google.

Appreciate any asistance.

Did you include the BIOS or EFI boot ROM when doing the cross-flash process? That's the line here near the bottom:

sas2flsh -o -f 2118it.bin -b mptsas2.rom

If you installed the legacy/BIOS boot ROM, you might also need to look to see if there is an option in the RD350 BIOS to enable "Legacy OPROM" for the add-in slot.
