Creating a personal cloud (Remote sharing)

I'm looking at creating a new blog and reposting some of my stuff after the release of FreeNAS 9.1.

I like to have a look of the tutorial as well. I am about to setup my first FreeNAS, should I wait for 9.1? Or is 9.1 still some ways off that I should head to 8.3.1 right now?

There's no set date for 9.1, and dates have known to be quite a bit off anyway. I'm not expecting 9.1 before August.
