Crashed System

I am currently testing FreeNAS.
I installed on a flash drive. What is my flash drive failed down the road (couple of years from now); Can I just install on another flash drive an recover my storage?

Yes. Just make sure and keep a backup of the configuration. Then you would simply re-install FreeNAS on the new USB drive, boot from it and restore your config. Should be exactly the same (provided your config doesn't change after you take the backup.)
