I must be going mad. Last week I went to the Supermicro website and looked at the cpu support list for this board and now, I cannot find it. So I called them and they said they ONLY Pentium G series cpu that passed is the G3450. This cannot be. I have a G3240 sitting in my cart. I was going to purchase but I thought I would just double-check and see the cpu support doc...
And, is it possible to flash the BIOS without the cpu installed? Assuming it doesn't work with the old BIOS.
EDIT: I am surprised this board is recommended and among the most popular here. I am seeing nothing but problems with CPU support. After reading other threads it seems you cannot update the bios via USB stick unless the cpu works. So if I get a board with the old BIOS I will need to pay $30 to Supermicro.
