Copying, Sending, Deleting Things

Hello, I am running a FreeNAS system I've finally linked it to my PC but when i try to transfer files i get a "you need permissions to perform this action" I believe the only user I have is root, If i need to add another user(Please tell by steps).

Please, as per forum rules, provide your hardware specs and the version of FreeNAS you're running. You gave us very little information to go on.

What are your settings of the dataset you are trying to access?
What sharing service are you using, SMB, AFP, NFS?
