Cloud sync task not doing anything

Hello everyone, I have a weird problem with Truenas cloud sync task pull from Onedrive. When starting the task it is able to utilize the full bandwith of my internet connection downloading ~65 MiB/s but after a few minutes it goes down to just a few hundred B/s as seen on the picture and stays like that until I abort and start the task again. When copying data on the local network the performance is very good. Any idea what might be wrong? Thanks in advance!

And then a few days later it failed, offering a log file to download which was empty.
