Cloud Sync Container Data? (Scale)

If I setup cloud sync to sync the dataset my containers use, will that work for backing them up?

In other words, could I pull down the backup, recreate the container, and have all the data there?

Sounds like a “yeah..that’s what a backup is?” thing, but I’m new to containers and want to make sure I’m setting up this backup right .
