I sent my motherboard in for the second time about two weeks ago, after the LSI controller started failing. The first time, I got it back in less than a week with a bill of good health, but problems persisted.

So I wrote up a detailed description of the problem and steps to reproduce it, and sent it in again. Now it's been two weeks, which makes me hopeful that they're finding issues and making them right.

Soon I'll be back on here, searching for answers.

Yes. The LSI controller died (or presented itself as dead for all intents and purposes), as highlighted in multiple discussions anywhere people talk about FreeNAS and would listen.
The board was still less than a year old, but just beyond their 120 day limit for automatic replacement. So I've been stuck in limbo, with their tech support telling me it's bad, general consensus here saying the same, and the RMA department saying "no problemo."
I finally got a manager's email and started copying him on every (lengthy) discussion. Now I'm just waiting.
If I don't hear back by tomorrow morning, I'll request an update.
