Hello everyone...decided to start my FreeNAS journey after some convincing by my friends. Having some stumbling blocks early on - but I'll post specifics in the appropriate forum.

I'm a civil engineer, but PC enthusiast and gamer - been building my own rigs since the late 1990's. Really enjoy tinkering, but with two small kids finding the free time to make all the mistakes myself is impossible. So I am very hopeful to get some quick answers here to we can get the home NAS back in action!
