Change Plex Friendly Name

Greetings...I'm a noob at this but was able to get plex installed on Freenas 11 . I was clicking too fast and gave my plex server the default name of plexmediaserver_1. If I go into the server settings in Plex, the friendly name is greyed out so I can't change it.

I haven't been able to find any total noob directions to change the friendly name under Freenas if it's at all possible.

Help!

I am seeing the same thing in my install, but I was able to change it despite it being "greyed out". Click inside the box, overwrite the name, and save.

You should always be able to change your friendly name through the Plex web UI under settings no matter what platform Plex is running on. As @ginsu said, try typing over the greyed out area.

The name used in freenas is completely different than the Plex server name. Just change the name in the Plex ui if you want something different.

Thanks, that worked.....I was previously trying to highlight the text and nothing was happening. All is well now.
