I took 3 2TB disks, all same make / model from my QNAP box.
I put them in PC, and fired up GParted - wiped them, and formatted them to EXT4.
Installed Freenas, and it can only wipe 1 of the 3 disk. The other 2 says "operation not permitted".
Any ideas please? Is there some more 'thorough' way to reset / wipe the disks? I'm guessing it has something to do with them being part of a RAID in the QNAP box, but unsure how to troubleshoot.
