Can't Select LAGG Interface for bhyve VM

I've been having a strange issue. I cannot select my lagg0 interface as a NIC for any of my bhyve VMs. It doesn't even show up in the menu. I have tried using separate VLANs, but these have issues as well. The VLANs successfully get a DHCP lease, but can only communicate to the FreeNAS server and nothing else. If I manually move the TAP adapter to the existing bridge for lagg0, the VM works fine until it inevitably restarts. See the images below.

Anyone have any ideas? I've restarted several times to no avail.
