So I made some jail changes and wanted to save a new copy of my configuration file. I went to system->general->save config and clicked on the button. I get a pop up message with an option to export secret seed. Whether or not this is selected the save button is grayed out and I can't save my config file. I've tried with 2 different browsers, Firefox and a chrome based browser call Vivaldi. Neither works.

It seems to me that I should be able to make a backup copy of my config whenever I feel the need to and this seems like a bug. I'm just wondering if this works for others before I report it as a bug on jira.

Version is TrueNAS Core 12.0-U2.

I noticed when I tried to do that on 12.0-U2, I have a new look to the prompt:

Until I entered the root password, the save option was greyed out.

Maybe you need to flush your browser cache for that page to get the new UI to show you the root password field?

I note it's also the same under 12.0-U2.1

That's it, I wasn't adding the password in. I figured it was something simple.
