can't load ng_ubt & USB_ERR_STALLED

I did a fresh install of FreeNAS but when i boot it it repeats an (USB_ERR_STALLED, ignored) and the whole boot process halts when it does: "kldload: can't load ng_ubt: No such file or directory"
I formatted a 16GB flash drive with rufus and used FAT32

I'm using a HP TouchSmart IQ771
specs:
AMD Turion 64bit (dual-core)
2GB of DDR2 SDRAM (I upgraded to 4GB recently)
NIVIDA GeForce Go 7600

ah ok thanks, but it's strange that I tried it in a VM on the HP and it worked fine which is very odd, it's probally a hardware thing though
