I'm running a new build with an Asrock Rack H87WSA-DL, i5-4590 (Haswell), 16G Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9), and an OCZ Vertex 2 120G SSD (repurposed from my FreeNAS 9.x setup). I used Win32DI to create a USB to install onto the SSD. All other drives removed during installation.
The USB is written okay (I've tried a couple different sticks, too), but whenever I try to boot from the USB to install, it tosses me straight into Grub Rescue. I've absolutely no idea how to proceed from there, as I'm Linux-ignorant. I'm not running secure boot or anything like that.
There's no problem that I can tell with the hardware, as I tried installing Windows just to check and that went fine. Open Media Vault also installs fine from the same USB sticks.
Any suggestions to resolve this? Thanks.
