Cant download plugins

Everytime i open my plugins page i get an error

Can anyone help me understand and resolve this error?

Could not resolve host: github.com

This sounds like a problem with resolving hosts. The reason can be a missing DNS Server setting or a missing default route.
Check your network config. Go to "Network->Global Config", what are the settings for Nameservers and Default Gateway?
