Cannot access share on second machine

I am rather new to FreeNAS and feel like I am missing something small and stupid, hope anyone could help?

I have set up my FreeNAS-11.3-U5 and I can access it well on my desktop. However, I cannot get in to the shares on my laptop - it says "not accessible, you may not have permission to use this resource".

I am able to navigate to my freenas.local just fine, I can see the drives on "This PC", but cannot get in.

I suspect the problem could be that it's Windows 11, tried allowing permission for SMB shares in the network group, but didn't work. Can't seem to find the right setting. Could anyone please help?

FreeNAS 11.3-U5 is EOL. Usually this sort of error message means that the Windows client may not be authenticating with the user you think it is.

I found a solution: I created a new user and checked the "link to microsoft account" - I took the same user name, and it worked.
