How is this possible? 88915 load cycles? this disk is still burning in. It's brand new.


edit: I've used wdidle3 as soon as I cannected it the first time and power cycled it. I've donne it again a few hours back and the number didn't increased since.

1 327 load cycles per hour, 22 per minute, so roughly one every 2.7 seconds. That's crazy. The default timer on Greens should be 5 seconds or so. It's about half of what the default is supposed to be, which is rather low already!

Not even taking into account that it's not a constant Load/Unload scenario, of course. Which means the drive was really going crazy.
