Can someone point me in the direction of a jail tutorial

I have an SSD that I will be using for jails

Under the Jail section I created one and it got assigned an IP address, what is the need for this?

Then when I went to create the storage it asks for a source and destination.
I set the source as the Jail dataset but I'm not sure what the destination should be.
