Can I switch to nightly just once?

I saw a post on Reddit claiming the latest nightly now offers hard drive temperature.

I'd like to switch to nightly for just one build (current) then I'd not update it at all until the next stable, mitigating some risk.


However, the menu seems to imply once you go nightly, there's no going back?

There's no going back from that screen. Instead, you activate your stable boot environment from System -> Boot and reboot into it.

That’s kind of very impractical for testing, if you don’t have ipmi :/

Will this ever be changed? Or can I now specify from the boot management menu to default to a different environment, next boot?


I’m surprised, because surely at certain points in time, nightly matches stable? Or no?
