C# programming Language and NAS

Good day! I'm a newbie with this part of technology so i really need all the help i can get and I would to ask assistance about NAS. I'm actually thinking of creating a centralized network storage using NAS that will be accessed by users through a system (developed in C/C# language) that creates user-account that can do functions like upload and download new file, delete file and search file.

Umm i was thinking of creating a separate C# system that will act like a "local skydrive(microsoft)" where users can create an account and do upload,download and etc. Will it be possible?

Sure, with enough coding and knowledge of Microsoft's skydrive protocol, anything is possible! ;)

You have owncloud, ajaxplorer and other open source alternatives. Why waste the time to develop something when you can improve on something that already exist?
