Hi!

I installed FreeNAS 9.10 on a Proliant G8, on SSD drive connected to the SATA-ODD port.
My problem is:
- If booting up without connecting any drive other than the system drive FreeNAS runs as it should be.
- If booting up with the drives for storage attached to the system, there is "Non-System disk or disk error" message.

Do i missed some BIOS settings?

You mean like telling BIOS which disk to boot from? Sounds like it.

I don't know why it would be listed as hard drive c: because literally no other OS aside from Windows use a drive moniker like that.

But set your boot drive to be the boot device.

Set the boot order to CD-ROM and then USB DriveKey, and remove the others if possible.

I tried all the combination of the boot order. Sadly there is no possibility to remove device from the list.
Happily (and a bit infuriatingly) i solved the problem by moving the SSD from the ODD to the regular slots.
