Hey all.
Recently thought I'd update my FreeNAS-9.10-STABLE box on a C2750D4I completely from scratch. I want some of this Corral action.
Running 8 4TB WD Reds in Z2.

I have begun at the low end, updating BIOS and BMC (Marvel has been done previously), to get rid of this Watchdog issue, but also noticed a new update on the ASRock site for LSI 2308 firmware, P16 for FREENAS.

I've searched for info on this mobo with freenas, but can't find a great deal of info.
My question is, is this a recommended update for my setup? From the info I can find, these updates suggest they may be recommended for software raid (such as my Z2 setup), but it's a bit unclear as to what this update does. I thought considering these boards were used by a few people around here, someone may have a suggestion for me? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Your motherboard doesn't have an LSI controller on it.

I didn't think so, but being no expert in these controllers, I thought it best to ask.
Many thanks mate.
