I've been running Linux since before 1.0 and using emacs a little before that. Here is my personal web page that I originally wrote
using emacs: http://www.fraserphysics.com/
Counting a Raspberry Pi and Crouton on a Chromebook, I run 4 Linux systems in the house. I used my wife's 3TB Seagate unit as "backup"
till it died recently. I've been lucky over the years and haven't lost any data with my ad hoc methods. Fearing that my luck won't
last, I just bought an ixsystems mini that I run in raidz2 mode. I intend to replicate snapshots from the mini to some place offsite.
