Android App

There are currently 2 (non official) android apps on the market. Both only support FreeNAS version 7. I'd love an official android app for version 8 and would pay for it. I'd love something that would allow me to stream movies/music and backup my phone.

I know there are plenty of samba/ftp/network backup apps out there but something with admin access as well would be nice. Alerts via email only go so far...

It makes much more sense to design a website tailored for mobile devices that would be compatible with all mobile devices rather than build separate Android, Windows Phone 7, and iOS apps. Would I rather have native apps? Of course I would but the man power required to make that happen is much greater that a mobile site.
