Hi,
I'm writing because most of the times, when aMule finishes downloading a big file (e.g. 2+ Gigabytes), it stops working.
I get this error message from the daily log:
Pid 94148 (amuled), uid 1001: exited on signal 6

If I restart aMule or the Jail, then it works perfectly, till it finishes downloading another big file. Looking around on the internet, it looks like a performance issue, as if the jail had no sufficient resources to continue working properly. It's strange, because Trasmission is working fine even with big files and the server seldom has high workloads.

Right now I'm bypassing the issue adding a cron job that automatically restarts the jail once a day, but I would like to figure out a way to solve it definitely.

How much RAM on this system and how many jails/plugins/VMs? Which NIC driver (from ifconfig) is being used?

Hi,
System platform: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU G1610T @ 2.30GHz

RAM: 16184MB

4 Jails Running (Plex, Amule, Transmission, Couchpotato), but only aMule and Plex are used (I start Couchpotato and Transmission only once in a while). I've no VMs.

I don't know what NIC driver is, but I copy paste the output after ifconfig

Would be interesting to see if increasing RAM to 32GB (if possible) resolves it.

If I remember correctly, my system does not support more than 16GB of RAM. I'll try to stop couchpotato and trasmission's jails (not only the plugins) and see what happens!

Anyway, it's a strange issue and maybe due to an aMule bug (tried to update it, but still the problem persists), since Transmission works perfectly even when has to due with much larger files
