Hi guys.

Problem with my 9.10 setup, showing LSI HBA driver/firmware misatch alert. Can't solve it, maybe a bug, idk.?!

I'm using a Supermicro X10SLH-7 and an AVAGO LSI 9300-8i HBA in it-mode.

This 9300 HBA has installed the Phase 9 (= P9) package for Firmware and BIOS, means:
Firmware Version 9.00, BIOS Version 8.21.

After applying the latest FreeNAS update via the gui I got a yellow blinking alert:

Firmware version 9 does not match driver version 13 for /dev/mpr0. Please flash controller to P13 IT firmware.

I checked the Avagotech support page for new Firmware and BIOS files:

These packs are currently availabe: P9 (is installed on HBA), P10, P11 and P12 (= latest)

But the alert said, P13 is needed. So I decided to install P12, the latest pack from the Avagotech page.

The HBA has now Firmware Version 12.00, BIOS Version 8.29

After booting FreeNAS a new alert showed up:

Firmware version 12 does not match driver version 13 for /dev/mpr0. Please flash controller to P13 IT firmware.

Problem is, there is no P13 IT firmware available for this 9300-8i HBA.

What can I do now? Maybe a bug with the last FreeNAS Update?
Need help please.

Cheers, Kai

Seriously, LSI? Fscking seriously? God damn it, I feel like giving up. They literally would only need to skip a damned version number, but instead they decide that offsetting the version numbers for the driver and firmware by one was the better solution???
