Airdrop to server

Hi team

Im looking to set up an Airdrop alternative where Apple devices send images / video simply by sharing the file.

I have found a method on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBU04gfmFS0&ab_channel=BrainersTechnology

With this the apple device can save a file to a server IP

Im just wondering is there any dedicated app for this through Truenas? All suggestions welcome

Not sure if this is what you are after, but on iOS/iPadOS, the built in Files app can read/write files directly to TrueNAS SMB server. It just works automagically. I'm sure you can do the same on other platforms.

Files, (...), Connect to Server, smb://{ip or hostname}
